What is LPC Supervision?

LPC Supervision is a required component for LPC-Associates working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. The Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (TBHEC) mandates 3,000 supervised hours of post-graduate counseling experience, including 1,500 hours of direct client contact.

Our LPC Supervision Program helps associates:

  • Receive expert mentorship and feedback to develop clinical skills
  • Build confidence in case conceptualization, ethics, and client care
  • Navigate professional challenges in real-world counseling settings
  • Prepare for independent practice or specialization in a counseling niche
  • Develop a faith-based, clinically sound approach to counseling.

Supervision isn’t just a requirement—it’s an opportunity to refine your counseling expertise.

Stories of Growth & Professional Development

I have had the privilege of working with Andrew Dealy in multiple churches and ministry contexts, and I have seen firsthand the impact of his teaching and leadership. Andrew has spoken to groups of all sizes and has provided invaluable training for our staff, always delivering truth with clarity, grace, and compassion. The feedback from those who participated was overwhelmingly positive—some of the strongest and most affirming responses I have received in over 20 years of pastoral ministry. I cannot recommend Andrew highly enough.

I’m thrilled for Andrew Dealy and the launch of Ever Rise Care and Consulting. Andrew brings together a unique experience in care, counseling, and consulting along with an inimitable passion for the local church. From leading a counseling center to training a generation of biblically-faithful counselors, Andrew’s passion for Christ is evident to all, and I have every confidence that those who come to Ever Rise will experience this in real and tangible ways.

Executive Director, Fieldstone Counseling

Andrew is one of those rare people who can navigate sin and suffering, shepherding and counseling, character and clinical, body and soul with excellence and grace. He is ambidextrous in his ability to minister theologically and therapeutically. If you are looking for training or supervision in clinically-informed biblical counseling, Ever Rise will exceed your expectations and equip you to care for others with God-glorifying excellence.
